Skiing has been excellent. In addition to targeted snow making efforts, the pattern of frequent light snowfalls will continue for the next several days, so our base will continue to build. 

Even with colder days ahead, a mug of hot chocolate and a quick stop in the Lower Lodge by the fireplace will take the chill off in no time. It’s the perfect way to recharge before heading back out for more laps on the slopes.  Our Ski & Board Shop also offers base layers, ski socks, face mask and hand warmers. 

Expect machine groomed packed powder - a soft but consistent surface offering great edging.

The Ditch — our Main Terrain Park —  offers fun and progression for riders of all ability levels. We have also added another terrain park, Electric Avenue.  Electric Avenue is a beginner to intermediate progressive park on the south side of Swiss Miss that can be accessed off of Chair 1.  Check out current Terrain Park features here. 

Get out and enjoy the slopes!

Lessons are available every hour on the hour and a self-guided learning area can be accessed by all at the Top of Chair 1. 

Other Updates:

Our Ski & Board Shop is open the same hours as our ski area, 9:30am-9:30pm daily.

Our Chalet Bar & Grill is open! We’ll be serving delicious food and non-alcoholic beverages daily beginning at 11:00am. We still await permit approval from the Michigan Liquor Commission. Our application is submitted, but the review process is taking longer than expected.

Arriving early? Our Cafe' 225 is available with yogurt parfaits, breakfast sandwiches, snacks and coffee each morning.
