Operations Update…

Swiss Valley Ski and Snowboard Area will close for skiing and snowboarding on New Years Day, January 1, 2021.

The decision was based on the less then ideal weather conditions for skiing on Friday and the right temperatures for making snow & building base. The extended weather forecast is not offering a lot of opportunities to make snow and we feel that taking advantage of the cold temperatures now will give us the best chance to meet our goal to open additional terrain and to eventually open the entire area.

AREA WILL REOPEN – Saturday, January 2 – 9 am – 10 pm.

The Ski & Board Shop will also be closed on Friday, January 1. Reopening Saturday, January 2 at 9 am. Please email Brett – brett@skiswissvalley.com. If you have any questions regarding the Ski & Board Shop.

If you have a reservation for Friday, January 1 with the Valley Kids Learn to Ski Program or purchased a full day ticket online the office will be contacting you by phone and/or email for refunds. If you need to contact the office, please do so by phone at 269-244-5635.

Reminder: Due to the restrictions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, we have limited indoor lodge space to warm up and dry off. We feel we need to take that in consideration when icing, sleet, and/or rain is in the forecast. Thank you for your understanding as we continue to try to make the best decisions with the resources we have to provide the best opportunity for a ski season in 2021!
