The Chalet

2020/2021 – Due to COVID-19 restrictions, The Chalet is CLOSED until further notice.

Our Chalet features pub style food and spirits! We have several local brews on tap and a wine menu representative of the wineries in southwest Michigan. A specialty hot winter drink menu features drinks like the “Chocolate Truffle”, “Snowstorm”, “Spiced Cider”, “Mountain Whiskey” and mulled “Hot Spiced Wine” complete with whipped cream, crushed peppermint or a cinnamon stick. The Chalet Menu has appetizers, salads, sandwiches, wraps, some Mexican flare and the best burgers in Newberg Township and all of Cass County. Restaurant style service is brought to you by excellent servers, bartenders and the best seasonal cooks in southwest Michigan. The Chalet features windows for a great view of the slopes, terrain parks and area events. An outdoor deck is available for seating throughout the season.

Cafe 225’

Cafe 225′ is located in the Main Lodge across from our ticketing window and Snowsports Learning Center service desk. It offers a central seating area with “grab & go” eating selections.  Some of our most popular menu items include:  Veggie Wraps, Special Recipe Egg Salad Sandwiches, Bosco Sticks, Chili Cheese Fries, Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup, Home-style Chili with Cheese & Onions.  On weekends and holidays begin your ski day with the Cafe 225′ hot, made-to-order breakfast (eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, french toast, hash browns, sausage…) served a half an hour before the lifts turn. Stop in again when you are ready for dessert…no trip to Swiss Valley is complete without one of our  huge Rice Krispie treats, yummy thick chocolate brownies or a frosted cookie! Outdoor seating is available on our deck.

Fireside Room

2020/2021 – Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Fireside Room may serve as overflow seating from the chalet on busy days.

Existing since 1968, our fireplace offers a great view of the slopes and is a warm and inviting. Located in the lower lodge, the huge picture windows overlook our advance terrain, race hill and terrain parks for an exciting view. Photos of notable accomplishments and Swiss Valley memories line the walls. Warm up by the fire in our fireside room after a day on the slopes, where our eternal ski flame has been greeting skiers for 50 years!
