What’s New 2023-2024

This summer saw several improvement projects kick off! Some exciting, some, just plain ol’ necessary. The main lodge received a new roof, facia, paint throughout the interior, a fresh coat of stain on the front of the building, LED lighting and updated décor. Other planned improvements include, Rentals and Ski Patrol buildings getting a fresh coat of stain for a fresh look. Speaking of our rentals, on the heels of bringing in 1,000 pair of Head ski boots last year, we have added nearly 300 pair of Head BYS rental skis, an additional 25 Head snowboards, and over 200 new Gyro helmets to our fleet.

This summer, Snow Mountain Operations was again on site, completing phase 3 of 5 of the major overhaul to our SNOWMAKING INFRASTRUCTURE. Thousands of feet of new snowmaking pipe, VFD pumping station and 5 SNOWGUNS have been added over the last two summers. This year we added an additional 2500 feet of snowmaking pipe and electrical, including snowmaking on our new run, “WEEZY’S WAY”, 3 NEW SMI SUPER POLECAT tower snowmakers have been added on Mountain Do (Triple) for some serious SNOWMAKING POWER. Finally, our PARKING LOT got the love it deserved, our old dirt/gravel lot has been paved with asphalt millings, eliminating potholes and making for a much better parking situation.

We are looking forward to showing you the new and improved Swiss Valley this winter season and hope you will join us as a passholder!

See you on the slopes,
